Walking tour of Mouffetard district (morning tour)

Situated in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, on the fringe of the Latin Quarter, the Mouffetard district has many restaurants, shops and cafés. The district has become increasingly the "done thing" to live in this area which was always very popular. You can discover the houses renovated on the “Place de la Contrescarpe” surrounded of fashionable restaurants. The slopes of the Rue Mouffetard have always been very animated, rich in colour ; twice a day it becomes an open-air street market covered with fruits, vegetables, fish and flowers. The Saint-Etienne-du-Mont Church. It contains not only the shrine of Sainte Geneviève but also souvenirs of Pascal and Racine, and is one of the only Churches in France to have kept its wooden screen.
